The American Aisle Story
It has been almost two years since we started working on the concept of opening the first ever retail store to sell exclusively American made products!
Thus far, the journey to find manufacturers has been very interesting. These manufacturers are all over the United States. They may be small, but they are creative; holding onto their niche and passion to create products that are unique in more ways than one. The manufacturers may not have been caught on the radar of big-box retailers yet, but they have legitimate entity in its own right to serve us, the consumer, with some extraordinary products. Each person has their individual taste, but you cannot go wrong in terms of quality when it comes to products made in the U.S.A. One of the more challenging aspects has been to weed out the large manufacturers, who may have outsourced most production overseas, although they do have some small fragment of things made still here.
So in other words, the shoppers at American Aisle can certainly find products that are very unique, exclusive and most importantly not available in most stores in the Chicagoland area! The most important element which binds the products is that they all are 100% made in the USA.
